Yip & Associates, Inc. is a personalized company that provides customized transcription to its clients. We currently offer a complete state-of-the-art digital equipment system to our physicians, along with designing electronic letterheads and formats that they specifically desire. We have an internal FTP server that allows work to be given to and received from anyone with Internet access, physician or transcriptionist.

We are looking for long-term MTs. We are seeking "team players" that are willing to go the extra mile to be a part of our team. If you are not ready to commit yourself 100%, please do not apply. We have PT and FT positions available. Full-time MTs are expected to produce no less than 800 lines (65 character line with spaces) per day. Part-time MTs are expected to produce no less than 400 lines (65 characters lines with space) per day. These positions are subcontracting positions. All subcontractors MUST be HIPAA compliant and willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT

- Must have WAV pedal to play .wav files
- Must use MS word
- Must have dsl or cable line to upload/download files
- Must be able to provide 18-24 hr. turn-around - NO EXCEPTIONS
- Starting pay is 6-8 cents per line, depending on your experience. This is based on a 65-character line
- Pay will be bi-weekly or monthly (Direct Deposit only)
*- Voice files will be downloaded via FTP site. DocShuttle (client version) is required. Cost of software will be withheld from your first two paychecks and reimbursed after 90 days with us. The software is $69.00.

* This must be implemented by June of 2005

2. Do you have a WAV pedal that plays .wav and .dss files?
3. Are you familiar with ftp sites and how to upload/download work?
4. Do you have the AAMT Book of Style? Are you currently transcribing according to these guidelines?
5. Are your English skills excellent?
6. How many 65-character lines can you reliably produce on a daily basis?
7. Are you able to meet deadlines without difficulty?
8. Are you looking for a long term position? If yes, part-time or full-time?
